Hotels – Booked via your Conference Profile
The AIDS 2016 Accommodation Department has rooms available in different price categories (in USD) for conference delegates and groups. Rooms will be sold on a first come, first served basis, therefore early booking is highly recommended.
Online Hotel Booking
In order to access the accommodation booking system you require a conference profile. If you have previously attended an IAS or AIDS conference then you can use the same login details, otherwise you will need to create a profile.

Group Hotel Booking (more than 10 rooms)
If you are a company or organization requiring a group accommodation booking, please send the required arrival and departure dates, the number of rooms, the price range, and any other requirements you might have to the AIDS 2016 Accommodation Department.
- All indicated rates are in USD and per room/night including breakfast and service charges. Rates may increase without notice due to changes in government charges, taxes or levies.
- Hotel check-in time is usually at 15:00. If you would like to check in earlier, we highly recommend pre-booking the room for the preceding night of your stay as an early check-in generally cannot be granted during busy conference periods. If you would like to request an early check-in on a “subject to availability” basis upon arrival, please indicate this in the special request field in the accommodation booking form.
- Should you check out before the confirmed departure date or in case of no-show, the hotel reserves the right to charge you for all nights confirmed according to the cancellation policy.
- Please note a valid passport is required upon check-in at the hotel for all guests. South African citizens must produce their ID book and/or driver's license.
