Third Party Press Conferences

The AIDS 2016 Media Centre will be located on the lower level of the International Convention Centre (ICC). The Media Centre will have two press conference rooms. When not in use by conference organizers, the press conference rooms will be available for use by third parties (this refers to all parties other than the conference organizers and includes NGOs, government bodies, international organizations or agencies, foundations and/or industry representatives).

Kindly note that only press conferences linked to the AIDS 2016 Programme will be taken into consideration and that, when possible, they should take place on the same day as the relevant presentation.

Bookings for third party press conferences are now open. Although there is no fixed submission deadline for third party press conference applications, we advise you to submit your application before 27 June, as last minute requests may prove difficult to accommodate due to space limitations. AIDS 2016 cannot guarantee that all those requesting a press conference slot will be granted one.

To send a booking request please read carefully the terms and conditions of on-site press conference rooms and complete the online booking form below. Please note that all speakers and support staff must be registered to attend the conference, and that all media outreach is the responsibility of the group hosting the event.

Speakers’ Corner

There will also be a Speakers’ Corner available for making announcements. The Speakers’ Corner is an informal space in the Media Centre for up to 30 people. Scheduling for the Speakers’ Corner will open in mid-June so please check back here at a later date.
