Registration Fees

To encourage broad participation in the conference, organizers are offering a two-tiered fee structure with lower registration fees for delegates from upper-middle-income countries, lower-middle-income countries and low-income countries (based on the World Bank Classification), and students/post-docs/youth delegates.

The standard registration fee includes:

  • Entry to all conference sessions, the opening and closing session, the exhibition and the poster area

  • Entry to the pre-conference meetings, which will be held 16-17 July (Please note: Starting in February conference delegates will have the ability to register online for selected pre-conference meetings in advance of the conference.)

  • Transportation services throughout the week of the conference. The built-in cost provides an integrated transport mechanism to ensure the safety and security for all conference delegates.

  • A USD 75 contribution towards your choices for one of the following three options:
    • Two-year IAS Membership: The two-year IAS membership will be activated following the conference. If you are already an IAS member, the existing membership will be extended by two years. Click here for more information of IAS Membership benefits.
    • Conference Scholarship Fund: The contribution will support the AIDS 2016 International Scholarship Programme.
    • AIDS 2016 International Community Partners: The contribution will be equally split between the AIDS 2016 civil society partners (GNP+, ICW, and ICASO) to support outreach and engagement efforts at the community level.

Please note that we have recently adjusted our registration fees. These changes were based on the recent shifts in global exchange rates that have significantly lowered the value of many currencies against the U.S. Dollar. The ripple effect of this economic shift strikes directly at the heart of our theme: Access Equity Rights Now. For more information regarding these changes click here.
